Rebranding that projects Swiss values into the future – a tactful modernization.

Brand revitalization needed

Design, sitting quality and variation – for 45 years, Intertime has developed and fabricated high quality seating in Switzerland according to this philosophy. With a change of generations at management level, the design focus was sharpened. This new alignment meant placing greater emphasis on a minimalist and timeless, attractive design language to be experienced through the brand. Intertime was striving for an overall modernization of the brand in order to appeal to younger audiences as well.

Swissness, interpreted anew

In close partnership with Intertime, we revised the brand strategy and brand identity. What drives Intertime and makes the company unique is their relentless pursuit of perfect seating, which the new claim “pure sitting” expresses. The logo represents a self-confident, contemporary and design-­orien­ted brand. The typeface “Helvetica” and the addition “Switzerland” underline the Swiss heritage and values. Based on these, the agency redesigned the entire identity to bring the clearly modern design and high quality to life.

A brand that appeals to various target groups

The redesign turns the sharpened focus on design into an advantage. As the embodiment of modern Swissness, Intertime projects the company’s Swiss values into the future, successfully differentiating them from the competition. The new brand direction was launched at the international furniture fair IMM COLOGNE 2012 with a stand developed by our team. The positive resonance proves that the rebrand has laid a solid foundation for the future that appeals not only to the current customer base but also to younger audiences.
