The Kaba Group is a global security firm with a workforce of 8,000 active in more than 60 countries. Process Design was commissioned to create a joined-up, bespoke product design concept for KABA, centred on interpreting brand values as forms and creating an instantly recognisable and consistent iconography for the various KABA products. Deploying cutting-edge RCID technology has resulted in solutions that are highly innovative in terms of usability and functionality; many of these applications exploit the natural electrostatic charge of the human body – for example, just touching a door handle is enough for your clearance to be checked and the door to be opened.
